Some nice pics of a job from this very day. A gurt big Juliet Balcony (if you don't understand Bristolian, that means 'A very big Juliet Balcony'). Really slick looking, like a well greased Conger eel. The glass is 2950 x 1080mm and weighs 170kg. Obviously, Steve just carried it himself because he's the bionic man. In reality, it was lifted by a telehandler from @manitou_uk. A decent bit of kit. The glass is held on four 316 stainless-steel fixings.

A few more pictures from the 'Deep in the Moor' Lonsdale rooflight install that Steve has just finished up. It replaced a single-glazed rooflight, which it's fair to say was beyond its best. It has changed the space, adding more light, thermal efficiency, and creating a clean and easily maintainable system.

Steve's been getting curvy in Kernow. He's been installing some toughened and @sentryglas laminated balustrade on the North Cornwall coast. The balustrade is placed in the channel, packed to level, then we pour an exterior grout to hold it in place, and cap that off with silicone. This is part of a new development of four houses, and the first two terraces are going in as I write. Curved glass is more expensive than straight, but in the right location, it looks stunning. We'd suggest this is the right location!

I'm glad to have had the chance to grab some shots

I'm glad to have had the chance to grab some shots of this one, which we completed a short while ago, amd see it in all its glory. We assisted with the design of the oak and glass balustrade, surveyed, supplied, and installed the glass around the terrace area. We also installed two Juliet balconies, some short infill panels to the top of a parapet wall, and a couple of insulated walk-on panels (which aren't shown in these pictures). A great job to work on, and the finished property looks fantastic.

It's not often we do replacement work, but when it's very local, and we can help someone out in the town, you can't really refuse. This was a replacement of 3 failed panels for a porch area. Interestingly, the original panels were double glazed, even though they were external. We have replaced them with 13.5mm, toughened, and @sentryglas laminated panels, which are much more suitable and provide a really strong and robust product. We had to remove and replace the existing Oak cover boards, then re-fit them, and plug the holes. The new oak plugs show up in the pictures, but these will weather in and match the existing boards in no time.

A few pics from an installation of a #walkonglass panel from yesterday. The panel is 2-edge supported, so the short edges span the opening. The short edges are still framed in a PPC aluminium frame to provide some protection, and the glass has a painted border all around to provide a clean and crisp look.
