Project Description
The clients wanted a simple, elegant and cost effective balustrade for their new garden terrace.
A few options we’re talked through at design stage, looking at the aesthetic and practical considerations. The final design – face fixed to the outside of the wall rather than the more standard option of posts fixed to the top surface – allowed for a much increased terrace area, giving a more spacious feel.
Little design details like the differing lengths of the handrails on the stairs, due to the differing levels of the garden, allow for an individual look.
Mirror polished, 316 stainless steel was used throughout, due to the coastal location, thereby minimising the cleaning and management of the metalwork.
All in all a great job, with clients who were a pleasure to work with!
