Project Description

Clean and simple frameless glass balustrades, for a new-build in Polzeath, Cornwall.

The client wanted to have the minimal impact on the beautiful view of the bay, so opted for a toughened laminated glass, with two types of simple base fixing.

The front entrance to the property uses bespoke, turned 316 stainless steel fixings, with internal pressure plates, creating a simple and elegant feature entrance. The shape of the slate capping to the wall is reflected in the shaping of the front edge of the main glass panel. At 2400mm long, the panel gives the cleanest lines possible to the entrance surround.

The main terrace has a base channel, bolt-fixed to a steel-braced timber structure, allowing the spectacular view to be enjoyed from the client’s 1st floor front room.
