Project Description

The client wanted to create a very minimal, structural glass rooflight, to run down on either side of the ridge line of his renovation of an old Chapel, in Rusudgeon, Cornwall.

The brief was to provide a minimally framed system, that would have no visible support structure at the ridge, giving a clear ‘slice’ out of the roof line and flooding the internal space with light.

Having discussed and drawn up the design principal, we surveyed the site and then once manufacture was complete, returned and installed the frame and the structural glass elements.

The final design allows for a view straight through the roof to the sky beyond, whether from inside, or outside the building.
